AIT fully controls its intellectual property (IP). We implement protocols in FPGA code ported to the latest available FPGA devices. This means continuous adaptability to new high speed chips as they become available.

Just a few years ago, AIT’s Fibre Channel and Ethernet products operated at 1Gb/sec. As Fibre Channel and Ethernet evolved, we’ve evolved right along with them. Our latest IP supports 10Gb/sec  and soon up to 40Gb/sec. And our IP-on-FPGA strategy means we’ll keep on evolving.

Sometimes the best future is upgrading what already exists.

Example: A manufacturer discontinued production of a critical IC central to operation of a VME-to-PCI adapter board.  AIT replicated that IC’s functions in an FPGA, preserving the user’s investment in existing test equipment.
