          Rugged USB-to-Serial Interface Adapter Enables Secure Software Loading for GE CF34, CT7 and F414 Engine Control Systems

          Avionics Interface Technologies (AIT), a Teradyne company and leading provider of avionics data loading, test, and interface solutions, today announced the availability of the uPDL-SERIAL-V2, a rugged USB-to-serial FADEC loader interface adapter that enables secure software loading operations for General Electric CF34, CT7, and F414 engine control systems. Designed to operate within AIT’s trusted Portable Data Loader ecosystem, the uPDL-SERIAL-V2 supports secure software loading workflows aligned with ARINC 645 secure data loading practices and ARINC 835 software-part authentication requirements, helping operators modernize engine software loading while maintaining rigorous cybersecurity and software integrity controls.
