Remote Access to MIL-STD-1553 Data Bus Systems
Did you know that AIT provides a variety of products and solutions that offer remote access to MIL-STD-1553 data bus systems? We have products for a wide variety of applications including:
MIL-STD-1553 LAN Attached Test & Simulation
The ETH-1553 is a small, portable Ethernet appliance that provides support for the simulation of a Bus Controller, multiple (up to 31) RTs, and Bus Monitor operations. The device is accessed and controlled over an Ethernet LAN via AIT’s Flight Simulyzer application, MIL-STD-1553 C API, C++ API, C# API, and LabVIEW VIs.

Flight Test Data Acquisition (MIL-STD-1553 DAUs)
The eDAQ-1553-FQ is also a small, rugged, flight ready MIL-STD-1553 Ethernet appliance that can be used as a DAU in flight test applications and can also function as a MIL-STD-1553 to Ethernet bridge device supporting a variety of onboard applications. The eDAQ-1553-FQ is capable of streaming MIL-STD-1553 bus data as IRIG 106 Chapter 10 streams over both of it’s 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN interfaces.
