Simple
- Eliminates the need for cumbersome & difficult to manage physical media, saves time & money.
- Simplifies administrative tasks significantly, reducing time & associated labor costs.
- Streamlines operations by standardizing all data load processes to one AIT PDL family or host system (laptop/tablet PC).
Smart
- Provides a fully controlled data path throughout operations, removing inherent security risks associated with non volatile physical media.
- Eliminates a lifecycle obsolescence challenge by not requiring use of outdated legacy memory interfaces that are not equipped on systems (laptops/tablets) shipped today.
- Minimizes operator error by allowing the data loading engineer to review all software contents prior to load onto the LRU.
Secure
- Eliminates the need for insecure portable, non-volatile, mass storage devices in aircraft maintenance applications.
- Supports compliance with new CyberSec recommendations and regulations which strongly discourage the use of non volatile portable media.
- Removes security risks inherent with physical media by leveraging a fully controlled data path throughout operations.
