Shared Memory Network Hub

The HUB-SMN-16 is a managed shared (reflective) memory hub designed to work with AIT’s family shared memory network (SMN) products as well as 3rd party reflective memory products. The hub is capable of automatically bypassing ports when a loss of signal is detected to allow the other nodes on the network to remain operational when a single node is disconnected or malfunctions

Key Features

For use with AIT’s family of SMN products for PCI, PCI Express, XMC, & PXI Express
Provides 16 ports for use with SFP transceivers. SFPs ONLY required for active/used ports
Automatically bypasses defective attached devices and ports with no device nodes connected
Port bypass can also be manually configured in management interface (to bypass un-used ports)
Each port regenerates the output eliminating link loss and reducing jitter
Powered with standard “wall power”
